I have lived in the Puget Sound area for more than 37 years and I love the unique quality of life here. I settled in Duvall after discovering its small town charm and scenic valley views. Last December I personally experienced the benefits of our close-knit community when my house was severely damaged in the windstorm. I was inspired by the way the community rallied around with help and support for those of us displaced by the storm. After this demonstration of overwhelming generosity, I cannot imagine living anywhere else.
I have a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington and more than 16 years experience in Business Management. For the past 5 years I have worked at Microsoft deploying a Quality Management program with emphasis on data driven problem solving through root cause analysis and statistically validated solutions. My experience at Microsoft has taught me how to bring clarity to ambiguity and perfect my negotiation and collaboration skills - valuable skills to bring to the council.
I am active in the community as Precinct Chair in the 45th district and through the support of local charities, including serving as a coordinator in Microsoft’s annual Give Campaign.
